Our forward-thinking rural medical centre is seeking a General Practitioner to join our dynamic team.
We are a friendly and family-orientated medical centre with 3100 patients, dedicated to addressing health equity and improving health outcomes for all patients and family/whanau. We focus on providing the highest quality healthcare services for our community while focusing on preventative medicine. We are looking for someone with a strong emphasis on good teamwork and who shares our values and passion for delivering quality care.
We are only 30 minutes from Methven, the ski lovers’ hub, and 45 minutes from Christchurch, a vibrant city with everything at your fingertips.
Do you have what we are looking for?
- Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilise your experience
- Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
- Excellent communication skills, good time management and ability to adapt when necessary
- Knowledge of the Te Tiriti O Waitangi with a commitment to equity
- Ability to build strong rapport with team members
Applicants for this position would have:
- A current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as well as a medical protection membership
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
- Receive a satisfactory, police check as part of the employment process
